Update Your Membership Information

We are asking everyone to take a moment to verify that the membership information we have is current (i.e., name, organization, work/business addresses, phone numbers, e-mail, etc.). You can easily update your membership information on NCMA HQ's web site. You will need your membership number to get into the database. (Your membership number is the 6-digit number printed above your name on the address label on the front of your issue of Contract Management magazine.) You can call the membership hotline at (800) 344-8096 or email them to update membership info.

Welcome to our Chapter!

The Free State Chapter is a fairly diverse bunch, pretty much evenly divided among Federal Government, large businesses, and a group of small businesses, non-profit organizations, educational entities, and private entrepreneurs -- a lively and energetic chapter. We are a Level III chapter, which means we are either a very big small chapter or a little big chapter, growing from 33 charter members 11 years ago to 281 today. In the Graalman awards, we have seldom ranked less than a Quality Chapter and have been frequent Regional winners. We try to accommodate your needs and your wishes. If you want to get involved, let us know and we'll welcome you with open arms! On the other hand, if you just want to get Contract Management magazine and have everyone leave you alone, let us know and you'll only hear from us when you get the newsletter.

Membership Application

Most people are trying to cut expenses any way they can. However, according to experts at the American Society of Association Executives, one thing you shouldn't cut are your professional association memberships. These experts concur that your NCMA membership is worth its weight in golden ideas -- especially in tough times. NCMA provides you with practical, proven survival techniques and industry information to help you stay current. So, if you're sharpening your pencil for budget cuts, perhaps you should use it to renew your association membership instead! Are you familiar with the many benefits NCMA membership offers?

Join NCMA now by completing an on-line membership application. Group memberships are also available which allow participating organizations to purchase multiple memberships. These can be tailored to meet the unique needs of each organization. NCMA members benefit from the support of both the national office and local chapters. When you become a member you select a local chapter affiliation. Members also enjoy the advantage of NCMA's Member Discounts. NCMA has negotiated favorable agreements with several vendors for the benefit of our members. For membership information or to learn how to take advantage of these benefits, call NCMA at (800) 344-8096 or visit National's homepage at www.ncmahq.org.
